关于征集外国专家“我眼中的北京”优秀摄影作品的通知（英文版）  “Beijing through My Eyes” Photo Contest    --Submit Your Favorite Photos of Beijing!  The Association of Foreign Expertise Introduction by Universities in Beijing is soliciting photos of Beijing taken by foreign teachers who work for member universities of the Association.    The contest is intended to showcase the photography skills of university foreign teachers and introduce the customs, culture and urban development of Beijing to the world through the lenses of these foreigners.    I. Submission deadline: October 30, 2006    II. Eligible participants: Foreign experts and teachers of the member universities of the Association    III. Form and content requirement:    (1) A distinct theme: presenting Beijing from different angles and perspectives;    (2) Both vintage photos and new photos may be submitted; there is no restriction on style or theme;    (3) A title and a description both written in English should be provided for each photo submitted, and the description should be accurate and brief; and    (4) Please include your name (both in Chinese and English), nationality, and the university where you are employed when submitting the photos.    IV. Method of submission    Please submit your photographs as 5 x 7 prints to the Foreign Experts Office of your university.    V. Judging: Entries will be judged by a panel of professional photographers.    VI. Announcement    Winners will be notified via telephone, fax or email by November 10, 2006.    VII. Prize description    A. Prize Categories    ·   Best Photo (First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Honorable Mention)    ·   Best participating university    B. Prize    ·   Certificate of Award will be issued to all winning contestants;    ·   A Collection of Best Photos from the “Beijing through My Eyes Photo Contest” will be published; and    ·   Winners will be invited to attend the ceremony for the tenth anniversary of the Association                                                                                                                                                  Department of International Cooperation and Exchange   Beijing Institute of Civil Engineering & Architecture   September 28, 2006  (信息来源：Int.BUCEA)
